Civil-Structural Engineering Graduates
to join our team and help shape an innovative and connected future. Structural EIT duties typically include: Structural Analysis: Analysis of both individual building components and analysis of complete building systems using a combination of modeling software and manual calculation. Seismic Design: Alaska's high seismic regions require a passion for seismic design and detailing of all construction types. On-site condition assessments and construction observation. Drafting & 3D modeling: Construct models using the latest FEM analysis software and BIM applications. Design Alaska seeks these desirable attributes in Structural EIT applicants: A degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering course work. Eager to pursue your Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alaska. Demonstrate a high-level understanding of structural system concepts. A passion for community-focused structural design projects throughout Alaska. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
