We’re seeking an experienced Acquisition Senior. The Acquisition Senior will provide acquisition and program management services for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Responsibilities

Provide expert acquisition planning support; pre-award, post-award, source selection, and close out. Provide pre-award documentation support including the development or input to statements of work, performance work summaries, independent government cost estimates, quality assurance surveillance plans, performance levels/acceptable quality levels, justifications and approvals, determination and findings, source selection plans, requests for proposals and quotations, task order requests, business clearances, and other pre-award documentation Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training in contracting practices and procedures. Provide acquisition and contract life cycle management for service contracts. Qualifications

Skills/ Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in the ability and skills to manage multiple projects, keep track of, or adjust, existing tasks while identifying new tasks and expectations as projects evolve. Ability to perform detailed work with little guidance and interact in a positive manner with other government and industry personnel. Ability to work under pressure and to adapt quickly in a changing environment and synthesize information and draft summaries and reports. Proficiency with MS Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project) Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree desired. A minimum of 10-15 years of professional acquisition experience. Experience working with and briefing senior level DoD personnel; excellent verbal and written communication and organizational and interpersonal skills Experience working in a time-sensitive environment with a high-level of accountability. Experience with large dollar service contracts and full life-cycle management of service contracts. Certifications: DAWIA Level II/III and/or NCMA CPCM/CFCM required. Physical Requirements: Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work with a computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
