We are seeking a strategic, enthusiastic and driven sales leader to serve as

Associate Director of Catering Sales

for Turning Stone Resort Casino. This position plays a critical role in leading a large and growing team to achieve ambitious catering service sales goals as Turning Stone opens a sixth hotel, The Crescent, and doubles its conference space with the debut of The Grand Expo in 2027. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, master relationship builder, and highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Starting Salary: $100,000 yearly.

Responsibilities

Directs the development and execution of sales upsell strategies for Turning Stone Resort Casino in partnership with the Director of Sales across food and beverage, ancillary services, event technology, golf, spa, entertainment and retail.

Leads and mentors a team of Services Managers, CS Concierge, and Billing Specialist, and manages select key vertical accounts as assigned.

Regularly seeks out creative ways to sell the full scope of services offered by Turning Stone and other Turning Stone Enterprises to event clients. Collaborates cross-functionally with internal departments including Revenue Management, Food & Beverage, Events, and Operations to optimize total event revenue.

Establishes and nurtures strong client relationships that drive repeat and referral business through lead generation and resources for efficient response times.

Monitors market trends, competitive set performance, and business intelligence to adjust strategies as needed.

Delivers clear, consistent, and motivational communication to the team and stakeholders that continuously drive results and raise awareness for the Turning Stone Resort Casino brand and its offerings. Oversees comprehensive execution of booked events from pre-event consultation through on-site participation, detailing, execution, and post-event follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction.

Oversees supervision and mentoring of team members across departments for all BEOs, Group Resumes, and required diagrams for functions.

Leads the team that ensures accurate and timely billing of clients.

Assists the Director of Sales with report analyses, annual business planning and budgeting, and identifying process improvements and goal setting.

Represents the property at industry events, trade shows, and client-facing meetings as determined.

Uses data to build the team’s funnel in partnership with Strategic Analytics and internal resources, supporting routine report analysis and annual planning to identify opportunities and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field preferred. Five years of direct sales experience; 7+ years of increasing responsibility in a fast-growing sales environment is typical.

Experience leading and supervising large teams within a complex hospitality or casino enterprise is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and presentation skills.

Strong understanding of dynamic pricing and hotel revenue yield management.

Strong organization skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle difficult negotiation situations.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and travel for trade shows, conventions, and client networking meetings.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Delphi or similar office software programs.
