Prospect, solicit, propose, and sell new business opportunities, as well as retain existing clients. Build and maintain relationships with midsize businesses while serving as their trusted Risk Manager. Collaborate with decision-makers to assess commercial insurance needs and negotiate terms and conditions. Provide personalized attention to clients, including follow-up visits and coaching on insurance policy options. Implement sales and networking strategies to expand our customer base and position our company competitively. Utilize sales tools and methods to identify, qualify, and develop prospects into revenue-generating relationships. Seize opportunities for growth by identifying client needs and cross-selling coverages. Attend required sales and company meetings, training courses, conferences, etc. Qualifications
Deep knowledge of insurance policies and coverage offerings. Familiarity with commercial enterprise procedures and the ability to advise clients accordingly. Previous experience as an insurance producer for commercial lines. At least two years of business-to-business sales experience, including selling to executives and senior-level management. Current Texas General Lines Property & Casualty or General Lines Life, Accident Health HMO License or willingness to obtain during the training period. Possession of a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
