About the Role
The
Senior Employee Benefits Consultant
is the team quarterback between sales and service. Your stewardship over a large portfolio means you’ll constantly be working with clients on benefits strategies and provide guidance on a myriad of issues like pricing, plan design, funding arrangements, claims, compliance, enrollments, administration, and more. Conversely, behind the scenes you keep a watchful eye on service delivery, the introduction of resources, and how best to address complex and escalated service issues. Duties & Responsibilities
Development of multi-year client strategies and service plan management Plan design and competitive benchmarking Management of the marketing process and negotiations Network evaluations Vendor management Development of bid specifications Proposal analysis Client presentations Budget projections Skills & Experience
At least 5-7 years of health and welfare insurance industry experience in sales or client service Active state insurance license
