Job Summary
Rx Data Entry Specialist -
Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM until 3:30 PM Essential Functions of the Position
Receives case, opens case and disinfects case for production according to the documented procedure Completely reads prescription and assigns proper case pan Calls dentists office for missing information Documents all materials received from dental office Performs the scheduling function for each case according to the documented procedure Enters information into LabTrac software Prints preference notes matching to each case and checks doctors preferences in profile Moves case into production area Disinfects work area according to the documented procedure Wears proper personal protective equipment when performing work tasks that require them and follows safety guidelines Acts as an active advocate to others in the lab regarding safety compliance Helps create and maintain a positive atmosphere within the department All other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Required
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Excellent communication skills Strong ability to listen and comprehend instructions, following tasks through to completion Strong attention to detail Able to perform accurate data entry of both alpha and numeric characters Strong organizational and follow-up skills Self-directed, with the ability to analyze problems and make decisions Flexible with the ability to multi-task Interpersonal/Teamwork skills Takes a proactive approach to situations Accepts and offers feedback Decision making skills Prioritize workload so that cases run efficiently through department Handle last minute rush cases properly as needed Takes steps to resolve an issue or problem Data Entry/Phone skills Phone Etiquette Data Entry accuracy and efficiency Minimum Education and Experience Required
Pharmacy Technicians are encouraged to apply High school diploma or equivalent General knowledge of Microsoft Office products Entry Level; paid training will be provided Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used

Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions using both arms and hands grasping, gripping, pinching, lifting, pushing and carrying. Constantly lifting & carrying 0-10 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination Good manual dexterity Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time Repeated bending and kneeling Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color Benefits
