divh2Sales Outfitter Position/h2pThe Sales Outfitter performs various Selling / Customer Service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information, assistance, and direction to customers./ppEssential Functions:/pulliSupports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers./liliDemonstrates product to customers./liliReplenishes product on shelves as required per Merchandising guidelines./liliRemains Product expert through ongoing product knowledge training./liliRemains knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintains pricing and signing./liliAssists with Seasonal floor merchandise moves./liliRestocks merchandise as required./liliKeeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies./liliFollows all Company Policies and Procedures./liliProvides a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions by:/liulliIdentifying and evaluating customers needs./liliMaking product recommendations based off of this analysis./liliPromoting programs including, but not limited to CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up./li/ulliAll other duties as assigned./li/ulpExperience/Qualifications:/pulliMinimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience./li/ulpKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:/pulliAbility to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers./liliAbility to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates./liliAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers./liliAbility to operate computerized Point of Sale register system./li/ulpTravel Requirements:/pulliN/A/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliConstantly stand and/or walk during shift./liliOccasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc./liliConstantly communicate with others to exchange information./liliOccasionally repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers./liliOccasionally operate machinery and/or power tools./liliOccasionally operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment./liliLight work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly, may occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)./liliOccasionally work in tight and confined spaces./liliOccasionally work in noisy environments./li/ulpIndependent Judgement:/pulliPerforms tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments.
