Our ideal candidate will be able to utilize their hands-on Triton aircraft/MOD/FOB maintenance experience to assist in the writing and development of technical publications. As the Technical Publications Writer, you will be responsible for authoring technical communications, editing interactive manuals, and assisting the Triton Fleet Support Team during verification/validation of on-aircraft procedural reviews./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliSupporting analysis, reviews, and evaluation of engineering data and requirements to develop and produce customized maintenance products./liliCreating technical data packages from vendor source data, Navy engineering support, and Navy logistics teams in support of the product development process./liliBecome an expert editing Extensible Markup Language (XML) in S1000D Issue 4.1 specification./liliAdhering to established processes to incorporate Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs) and Electronic Rapid Action Changes (ERACs) utilizing a Common Source Database (CSDB) tool set./li/ulpRequirements:/ppWhat Youll Bring:/ppRequired Qualifications:/pulliNavy Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) qualification./lili7 years of aircraft/avionics technician experience./liliProficient in the use of Adobe Systems, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office products./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliFormal education and/or a combination of education and technical writing experience./lili3 years of hands-on Triton aircraft maintenance experience./liliQuality Assurance (QA) experience./liliExperience in NAVAIR 00-25-604 requirements, graphics in publications, product design, system operation, or related field./li/ulpEqually Important:/pulliAbility to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams and with external partners./liliEffective communicator with strong verbal and written skills./liliProactive, self-directed work style with the ability to operate independently./liliAnalytical thinker with proven problem-solving capabilities./liliHighly organized, with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment./li/ulpSecurity Clearance Requirement:/pulliThis position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance./li/ulpSalary Range:/pulliThe anticipated annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000, commensurate with an individuals experience, qualifications, and skill set.
