The connection we have to the source of our fresh foods is core to the way we do business, becoming the first major supermarket in the United States to document that all its seafood products were sustainably harvested./ppPRIMARY PURPOSE: Lead all duties of the maintenance associate in coordination with the Assistant Store Manager. Maintain cleanliness and conditions of the internal and external store and property. Maintain cleanliness and conditions of the equipment used in the performance of this job function. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations./ppDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/pulliHelp plan, organize, delegate and follow up with job duties assigned to associates for completeness/liliProduce daily assignment sheets/liliProvide training, instruction, follow up and coaching to maintenance associates/liliMakes recommendations for maintenance activities needing additional attention/liliResponsible for maintaining adequate supply levels for all maintenance activities/liliMaintain cleanliness of the breakroom and all restrooms./liliSweep and damp mop all floors on a daily basis./liliClean up of spills throughout your shift./liliEmpty all trash inside and outside of store./liliSchedule rotation and cleaning of the dairy shelves./liliSchedule cleaning of the glass dairy and frozen food doors./liliSweep parking lot with designated equipment./liliPerform minor repairs of equipment and fixtures as needed./liliShovel and salt sidewalks as needed./liliMaintain compliance with all company policies and established procedures./liliMaintain company standards and programs for safety, fire prevention, and security./liliMaintain productivity levels at or above company standards./liliTreat all co-workers with fairness, dignity and respect./liliMaintain good communication with the management team and associates./liliProvide outstanding customer service./liliCommunicate any needed repairs and/or maintenance work needed./liliMaintain a quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assigned./liliPerform all other duties as assigned./li/ulpQUALIFICATIONS:/pulliAbility to lead and supervise a team./liliMust have effective interpersonal and organizational skills./liliAbility to effectively coordinate the day to day activities and routine tasks associated with all maintenance activities./liliAssociate must meet minimum age requirements./liliFlexible schedule needed./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliStand/walk 100% of the time./liliFrequent reaching and lifting (mop buckets, spills)./liliFrequent bending, kneeling and squatting./liliAbility to handle a variety of cleaning materials/substances./liliLift up to 40 lbs. approximately 50% of the time./liliPush/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly./li/ulpSalary range is between $ 17.35 - $24.75 Hrly Hannaford provides equal opportunity in employment to all associates and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth and related conditions), age, veteran status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law./p/div
