Become a maker of possible with us./ph3Position Summary/h3pThe general function of this job is to setup, changeover, improve and maintain the production equipment condition such that quality and quantity standards are met or exceeded. Responsible for training/developing operators and providing on-the-floor leadership. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold BD Values./ph3Duties/Responsibilities/h3ulliResponsible for doing changeovers and setting up the equipment properly./liliMust keep equipment running in a good state of repair to meet production and quality standards./liliIs responsible for generating accurate maintenance records and other records as required by management./liliResponsible for machine cleanliness and preventive maintenance./liliMust provide coverage for others who are absent./liliHelps operators run equipment and provide assistance during operators break times./liliMust actively participate and lead teams, including but not limited to: scheduling, process improvement, safety, and continuous improvement./liliMust work safely, handle chemicals properly and ensure the safety of work mates./liliExpected to comply with other requests made by management./liliMay work in a clean room environment and need to follow all GMP rules./liliOther duties as required to support the needs of the business./li/ulh3Education/h3pHigh School diploma/GED required.
