Perform precision mechanical hand assembly of machine parts into fixtures for brazing and welding operations. Assemble components using technical drawings, work instructions, and documented procedures. Work with small and delicate parts; use of microscopes or magnifiers may be required. Maintain quality, accuracy, and cleanliness in a mechanical assembly manufacturing environment. Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs. Key Accountabilities
Precision mechanical assembly to exact specifications. Consistent adherence to safety, quality, and documentation requirements. Accurate handling of small components and sensitive materials. Continuous attention to detail and workmanship quality. Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of mechanical or hand assembly experience. Ability to work in a clean mechanical assembly manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow documented procedures. Proficient with basic computer applications (MS Outlook, Excel, Word). Experience using basic mechanical tools and measurement equipment, including: hand tools, dial calipers, micrometers, height gauges. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to work with small parts using microscopes or magnifiers.
