This job description is a broad outline of responsibilities./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/polliStock, clean, rag out goods, operate the cash register and prepare daily paperwork./liliResponsible for keys to open and/or close store./liliMaintain good customer relations and give prompt, courteous assistance to all customers./liliAnswer telephone in a courteous fashion and direct caller to appropriate department./liliEnsure store appearance is clean and orderly./liliResponsible for janitorial duties: i.e., cleaning windows, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, etc. as assigned by management./liliOther duties as assigned by Store Manager or Assistant Manager./li/olpKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications Requirements:/pulliMust be able to handle cash, make change and operate register./liliMust be able to take instructions and carry them out without direct supervision./liliKnowledge of merchandise preferred./liliPrevious retail experience a plus./liliGood rapport with customers./liliStrong ability to utilize high levels of time management and multitasking./li/ulpCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:/pulliMust possess a valid Nevada Class C Driver License, and ability to drive a Salvation Army vehicle./liliMust be 21 years or older./liliComplete The Salvation Army vehicle course training./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliAbility to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis./liliAbility to grasp, push, and/or pull objects./liliAbility to reach overhead./liliAbility to operate telephone./liliAbility to lift (50) pounds non-continuously./liliAbility to operate a computer./liliAbility to process written, visual, and/or verbal information./liliAbility to operate basic office equipment and tools./li/ulpQualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
