divh2Executive Kitchen Steward/h2pThe Executive Kitchen Steward manages the stewarding function in all kitchen areas to promote overall cleanliness, sanitation and compliance with state and local health regulations. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly./ppstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in stewarding, kitchen maintenance, kitchen operations or similar, with at least one year experience in a supervisory capacity./liliKnowledge of food and beverage service operation preferred./liliComplies with certification requirements as applicable for position to include: Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid/liliDemonstrates familiarity with all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules as well as hospitality terminology./liliHas or can acquire Food Manager Certification (applicable state)./li/ulpstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliApproaches all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service oriented manner./liliControls and analyzes cost, breakage and quality support provided to outlets, banquets and other areas of all china, glass, and silver. Assists the Executive Chef maintain the culinary supplies./liliMonitors condition and cleanliness of equipment/liliMonitors condition and cleanliness of all kitchen areas./liliRecommends cleaning projects to Outlets Manager./liliParticipates in the preparation of the annual stewarding operating budget which supports the overall objectives of the Food

Beverage Department/liliEducates associates on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations./liliInforms management of hazardous situations, emergencies or threats to security of guests, employees or hotel assets/liliDetermines the minimum and maximum stock and control the par stocks of all materials and equipment./liliLeads, supervises and directs the Stewarding department and prepares/conducts performance evaluations./liliEnsures all Stewarding personnel fulfill their job functions appropriately./liliEnsures the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness of all facilities and equipment./liliPurchases and stores food, equipment and supplies as applicable and necessary./liliWorks closely with engineering department and schedules preventative maintenance work, as needed./liliMaintains costs by minimizing breakage, loss and excessive chemical usage./liliEnsures the proper handling of all chemicals./liliConducts and attends meetings as necessary./liliAssists with other duties as needed which may include but is not limited to providing assistance with food dish-up, completing set-up sheets, etc./liliMaintains open communication with other departments./liliParticipates in the property manager on duty program as assigned./li/ulpAfter an initial waiting period, those hired into full time positions are eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes the following:/pulliNow offering strongDaily Pay/strong!
