divh2Life Enrichment / Recreation Assistant/h2pApplicant must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate, caring and creative./ppWe are specifically looking for:/pulliExperience with patients with cognitive impairments/dementia/special needs./liliCertified nursing assistant (CNA) or willingness to become certified./liliAbility to develop structured environment to engage patients/residents in meaningful activities./liliWork as a team to plan and execute large campus events for patients/residents and partners of NHC./liliAbility to lead small and large group activities, provide a variety of environmental stimuli to enhance quality of life./liliWillingness to mentor and develop a volunteer program and work with interdisciplinary team to provide consistent structured activities./liliThe ideal candidate should be energetic, and have knowledge of the domains of wellness as it relates to programming in long term care, and have experience working with cognitive deficits, such as dementia.
