Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions./ph3Key Job Responsibilities/h3ulliPlan, layout, construct, maintain, alter, and repair complicated multi-station progressive, single purpose blanking, piercing and forming dies, as well as a variety of drills, holding and clamping fixtures./liliDesign dies and make or direct the making of detailed drawings./liliWork from drawings, sketches, samples, written and verbal instructions./liliVisualize finished job, make necessary mathematical calculations, select allowances for fitting and finishing./liliPlan, layout, and perform intricate machining operations on tool room equipment involving exacting setups and adjustments to maintain very close tolerances and skilled bench and hand operations. Experience with CNC equipment is beneficial./liliDetermine repairs required on dies returned to tool room./liliPerform emergency repairs to dies in the press department./liliPerform any variety of die grinding, shimming, replacement of progressive die components./liliMake up repair parts or machined items for special orders./liliTry out dies in tool room press, suggest changes to improve operation or reduce maintenance time, observe operation in production and diagnose and correct trouble./liliPrepare complex print programs utilizing higher levels of math and or utilizing a computer programming language./liliInstruct other employees and assist in overcoming difficulties. Aid in setting up any plant equipment as needed./liliReport faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor./liliObserve all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition./li/ulpCompensation: Up to $40.00/hr/ppHiring Bonus: $5000.00/ppRelocation Assistance/ppVacation: Up to 20 days offered/ph3Qualifications and Experience/h3ulliHigh School diploma or equivalent./liliJourneymans card or equivalent years of experience in the tool and die trade is required/liliOpen to those with a minimum of 3 years of experience./liliWire EDM experience preferred./liliStrong troubleshooting skills necessary, with the ability to make informed decisions./liliGood organizational skills with strong attention to detail./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced; multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines./liliMust be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and work efficiently with minimal supervision./liliHeavy lifting required (35 lbs).
