Your role involves creating experiences that cater to their physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being, making our community vibrant and lively./ppResponsibilities:/ppWork with the Engagement Director to plan and run a variety of activities, like exercise programs, interesting sessions, art projects, trips, spiritual gatherings, and events with speakers and music./ppConnect with residents personally, understanding what they like and need to make sure activities are enjoyable and meaningful./ppHelp plan trips outside the community, organize details, and make sure residents are safe and happy./ppCreate a warm and inclusive environment where residents can make friends and discover new interests./ppKeep records of resident participation and feedback to help improve our programs./ppShare creative ideas to keep our programs exciting and in line with what seniors like./ppQualifications:/ppHave a high school diploma or equivalent. Some classes in recreation, gerontology, or related areas are a plus./ppLove connecting with seniors and naturally get along with them./ppBe creative and able to plan and lead activities that suit different interests and abilities./ppOrganize things well and pay attention to details./ppCommunicate effectively and be kind./ppBe flexible to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings./ppKnow basic computer skills for documenting and communicating./ppAs the heart of our community our Engagement Team brings purpose and joy to our community.
