Work today, get paid today!/liliMonthly Celebrations and recognitions/lili$5,000 Tuition Reimbursement Per Year/liliQuarterly Education Bonus Program/li/ulpDaily Pay and Full Benefits Available!/ppActivities Assistant Primary Responsibilities/ppThe Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting in planning; coordinating and implementing appropriate activity programs to meet the individual needs of our residents./ph2Responsibilities/h2ulliActivities Assistant will develop and implement activity programs which are appropriate to the residents based on varied backgrounds, emotional needs and interests/liliAssisting the Activities Director with an evaluation of each resident according to their backgrounds, activity interests, abilities, physical limitations and need for meaningful activity programs/liliDocumenting activity plans and progress notes as directed/liliWork closely with the Activities Director to plan and set up each assigned activity, which includes gathering supplies re-arranging rooms, etc./liliAssisting in the development and distribution of monthly activity calendars to residents and posting these calendars throughout the facility/liliAssisting in the development and maintenance of facility newsletters/liliComply with safety requirements, infection control measures, and maintaining a clean work environment in accordance with facility policy/liliPerforming other duties as assigned by the Administrator/li/ulh2Qualifications/h2ulliMust possess a High School Diploma or GED/liliKnowledge on the use of personal computers, e-mail accounts, software programs such as Word and Excel/liliHave a thorough understanding of the principles of best Activities practices/liliPatience, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and willingness to handle residents based on whatever maturity and physical level in which they are currently functioning/liliThe ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPPA/liliPrevious experience in long-term care is preferred/li/ul/div
