With customers mission-critical needs always in mind, our employees deliver end-to-end technology solutions connecting the space, air, land, sea and cyber domains in the interest of national security./ppJob Location: Gardena, CA/ppJob Schedule: (9/80) - Every other Friday is a non-workday./ppJob Description: Under close supervision of the Lead and/or Production Supervisor, the Assembler C position is responsible for simple and repetitive job assignments, consisting of both Magnetic and Electro Mechanical assembly work ranging from simple to semi-complex in accordance with work order instructions, Engineering Drawings and Manufacturing Process Specifications./ppEssential Functions:/pulliAssemble Electro-Mechanical parts and perform inner chassis wiring connections using various tools./liliAssemble Magnetic assemblies through all stages of the process, from core and coil assembly to final assembly./liliAssemble wood creates/pallets as needed/required./liliPerform simple to semi-complex cable assembly per shop order instructions and engineering drawing./liliBasic understanding of standard hardware installation sequence./liliAbility to read hardware descriptions on Engineering BOM and physically identify the characteristic of the hardware./liliAbility to communicate issues, concerns and/or questions to his or her supervisors/managers and/or support groups (Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Quality and Inspection)./liliComplies with companys safety rules and regulations./liliResponsible for the accuracy of time charging on job performed./liliResponsible for keeping his or her work area clean and well organized./liliPerform other duties as assigned by Management./liliAble to pass soldering test and be certified ANSI-J-STD-001 as required./liliAble to read and understand both written and verbal instructions in English./li/ulpQualifications:/polliMinimum 2-5 years experience assembling electro/mechanical hardware as stated above, preferably to military requirements and specifications./liliAble to pass soldering test and be certified ANSI-J-STD-001 and/or IPC610 as required./liliMust have good knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620./liliMust possess good to excellent assembly blueprint reading skills./liliMust be able to read and understand both written and verbal instructions in English./liliMust have good understanding of hardware requirements./li/olpEducation and/or Experience: Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience./ppPreferred Additional Skills:/pulliSoft skills (I.E. Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication...)/li/ulpIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $35,780 - $62,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
