We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to support leasing and resident relations for an affordable housing community. This role focuses on leasing activities, application processing, and resident communication, with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 experience preferred. Location: Nehalem, OR Duration: Temporary, 3 months with potential for extension or longer-term employment Hours/Schedule: Monday

5:00 PM Compensation: $20
$25 per hour, based on experience Responsibilities:
Greet and assist prospective residents, providing information on available units and community policies Process rental applications and maintain accurate resident files Support leasing activities including move-ins and move-outs Assist with income qualifications, verifications, and documentation for LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs Respond to resident inquiries and provide excellent customer service Coordinate unit showings and maintain leasing records Work closely with the property management team to ensure occupancy goals are met Perform general administrative and office support tasks Qualifications:
Previous leasing or property management experience preferred LIHTC, HUD, and/or Section 8 experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Basic computer skills; property management software experience is a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
