Position Overview

Sales support position. Must be detailed, customer service oriented, and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires a high level of correspondence with sales team and with customers & vendors. Must be strong in Microsoft applications, and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high volume environment. Must have technical aptitude and an ability to learn. Essential Job Functions

Perform take-offs Download plans and specs Job file setup (electronic files on EEI network drive) Submit prior substitution requests Submit multiplier requests to manufacturers Generate written proposals for Outside Sales / EEI external customers Coordinate with Outside Sales on proposals and estimates for bidding purposes Follow up with customers on bid projects when Outside Salesperson isn't involved in the bidding process Generate submittals on secured projects (focused on technical aspect of submittal) Be a technical resource both internally and for EEI external customers Requires a firm understanding of the following: fan laws, fan performance curves, VAV boxes, Chilled Beams, various GRD devices, etc. Ability to assist customers and EEI internal staff on selection and application of Sheet Metal Equipment General technical support for Sheet Metal products Tracking of ship dates and assisting with communication to customers regarding shipping updates Order Entry for projects involving third party manufacturers on smaller "quick" orders Communicates effectively with other team members concerning project management process. Generates submittal and job documents for customer review and approval. Assists with distribution and receipt of submittals. Responsible for general administrative functions to support the equipment fulfillment process. Communicate and interact effectively with manufacturers that EEI represents. Responsible for generating, interpreting and printing various assigned reports. Requirements

o Associates Degree in Business or related field and 3 years project management experience; or 5 years project management experience o Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. o HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a plus Other Skills/Abilities

Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks. Will be required to work in an office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.
