As a Sales Rep - Key Account Manager (KAM) at United Rentals, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue from facilities and construction sites in a defined portfolio of accounts and assigned projects. You will generate new business efforts and cross sell with other business units. You are expected to meet various monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and metrics while working across multiple districts and coordinating customer rental needs across multiple business units./ppWhat youll do:/pulliResponsible for personal productivity, using all company tools and systems to maximize revenue and continually accelerate growth/liliResponsible for development and maintenance of revenue pipeline/liliUtilize all resources to identify and track new customers and opportunities/liliDevelop opportunities through various approaches including but not limited to cold calls, phone work, equipment application and consultative visits, value-added services, joint calls and cross selling/liliResponsible for successful execution of selling process steps across assigned accounts and projects/liliInvestigate customer needs and expectations thoroughly/liliDevelop and present solution proposals to customers/liliDevelop long-term customer relationships based on contribution to customers success through consistently superior performance, best-in-class service, teamwork and professionalism/liliWhere necessary, partner with appropriate key account managers to identify National, Strategic and Government accounts, qualify

quantify customer expectations, rental spend and projects/sites/liliOther duties assigned as needed/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliBachelors degree preferred/liliProven sales ability in transactional and relationship selling environments/liliAbility to read, analyze and understand industry publications and documents (Dodge leads, blueprints, PEC reports, etc.)/liliKnowledge of construction equipment and applications/liliValid drivers license with acceptable driving record/liliStrong selling, customer-service, relationship-building, planning, problem-solving and organizational skills/liliSolid computer skills and knowledge of business software/liliStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills/li/ulpThis role includes a base salary and monthly commissions based on performance. A minimum monthly guarantee incentive is provided during the onboarding and learning process.
