The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and a commitment to safety and customer service./ppMinimum/Preferred Requirements:/pulliValid Class A CDL/liliAt least 1 year of OTR driving experience is preferred/liliClean driving record (MVR)/liliAbility to operate GPS and electronic logging devices (ELDS)/liliAbility to have strong time management and organizational skills/liliWorking knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures/liliExposure to various weather conditions/liliExtended periods of driving and time away from home/liliPhysical demands include loading/unloading cargo and long hours of sitting/li/ulpJob Responsibilities/Duties:/pulliPlan routes and meet delivery schedules/liliReport any incidents or mechanical issues promptly/liliSecure cargo for transport and ensure proper handling/liliComply with all DOT regulations and company policies/liliConduct pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections of vehicles/liliMaintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service records/liliCommunicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members/liliOperate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods over long distances/li/ulpThis position requires the ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and safely with or without accommodation.
