Sales Representative I - Telephone
Fulltime Position
Will be responsible for growing and developing a pre-existing and changing sales territory, receiving customer orders by phone and E-commerce website and then transmitting them for delivery via PC. Must ensure product representation and good customer service. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a weekly itinerary for all accounts with scheduled call back days. Maintain account information for correct account contact. Maintain orders from an online ordering platform. Lead new customers enrolling in e Commerce for ordering. Carry out all phases of job responsibilities as directed by upper management. Develop & maintain communication with new/existing accounts. Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment. Work in conjunction with the office staff, warehouse, delivery, corporate office, and Human Resources to ensure a teamwork atmosphere and maintain a positive attitude. Attend all sales meetings promptly and with enthusiasm. Continual self-education/knowledge of new and existing products in the company's and competitor's portfolios. Keep up with and administrative detail. Always show professionalism in all areas: Attire Conduct Time Management Relationships Proper/Thorough Follow-up A filing system will be key to maintain and manage accounts; candidate will be expected to keep files updated and current (files to include account history, route lists, contact lists, product lists, chain mandates, and any other important information that is needed to manage the territory. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age Working knowledge of the four commodities of the beverage industry (Spirits, Wine, Beer and Specialty) Wholesale, supplier, restaurant or hotel experience preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalent required, college degree preferred. Good oral and written communication skills Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel.) Excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematical, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Must possess a valid Georgia driver's license. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations. Must be licensable under the guidelines determined by the state alcohol regulations. Ability to speak Spanish preferred. Background checks (i.e. Police backgrounds, reference checks) Motor vehicle record will be pulled to establish employment eligibility: Cannot have DUI, reckless driving, or hit and run in past 5 years Cannot have more than two moving violations, accidents or super speeder in past three years Drug free workplace.
