This position reports to Sales Manager Your Role and Responsibilities
The Account Manager has the responsibility for a defined geographic area and its associated customers. This includes the responsibility for the order intake/sales budget, in compliance with the pricing guidelines. This includes the organization and planning of measures for order intake/sales growth, customer acquisition, and the introduction of new products and systems. The Account Manager knows the needs of its customers and is responsible for ensuring that these are channeled and best satisfied at ABB. You are mainly responsible for: Acquisition of customers (defined target groups) for ABB and the building or maintaining of an intensive customer relationship Commercial negotiations and agreements in cooperation at decision-maker level with growth orientation for customer and ABB Further development of the customer target group in the specialist and marketing competence of our product and system solutions Continuous optimization of the cooperation with a focus on individual needs Managing customer feedback and contributing to the organization Ensuring customer use of ABB software tools/configurators EGH-Industry: Contact maintenance with EGH-Industry and its customers Needs assessment and support for the EGH-Industry purchasing customer in close contact with the EGH Support for the expansion of the ABB product portfolio to the EGH Maximizing the warehouse potential of the EGH Implementation of the partner program Qualifications for the Role
Completed commercial or technical training, ideally with further education in sales Experience in account management or B2B sales, preferably in electrical or automation technology Communication skills, negotiation skills, and a good understanding of customer needs, as well as very good German language skills Independent, structured working style and high motivation Affinity for digital tools and modern sales methods Benefits
