A well-established, mid-sized insurance brokerage in North Jersey is growing and seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join their team. This firm has proudly served the tri-state area for over 100 years and is known for its consultative approach, long-standing client relationships, and flexible, trust-based culture. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a long-tenured role and support group health clients across the greater New Jersey Region. What You'll Do Manage a book of group health insurance clients, delivering exceptional service and proactive support Work with a range of products including HMO, PPO, POS, and FFS/indemnity plans Handle renewals, enrollments, claims issues, and benefit plan changes Build and maintain strong relationships with employer groups and carriers Partner with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless client experience Provide consultative guidance tailored to each group's needs and benefits strategy What The Company Offers $70,000$75,000 salary Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week from home, with expanded flexibility after 90 days 65% 401(k) match Pet insurance + strong overall benefits package Annual salary increases & holiday bonuses Supportive team environment with long-term growth potential What We're Looking For Experience in group health benefits required Life & Health License Strong understanding of HMO, PPO, POS, and indemnity plan structures Detail-oriented, responsive, and client-focused Experience working with AMS 360 Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple employer groups in a fast-paced but supportive environment If you're a benefits professional who enjoys delivering tailored solutions and thrives in a collaborative, relationship-driven culture, this could be an exceptional next step in your career.
