Cape is looking for Account Executives who are passionate about privacy and security, inspired by hard technical problems, and energized by understanding (and helping solve) the complicated nature of large organizations' challenges. You will spend your days interacting with one or more of Cape's enterprise customers, understanding their challenges and concerns, and ensuring they understand how Cape can or is helping them meet those challenges. We are a small and scrappy company, so you should expect to run the "full stack" of the engagement, from initial meetings through piloting and deployment, and growth over time. In addition, you'll be responsible for funneling learnings and product feedback from your account back to the engineering and product team to ensure we are always building in the right direction. To be successful you'll need technical acumen, polished communication skills, tight execution, and early stage startup optimism. You know how to help buyers navigate large government investments, including how to mobilize distributed, global organizations and accelerate cycles. Understand your account at a deep level, develop a strategy for growth and execute against it Build long lasting, close customer relationships based on trust and credibility Own execution constantly exceed customer expectations on delivery, communications, and professionalism Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction Think creatively about new use cases for our products and new problems we can solve for our customers Competencies
5+ years in enterprise account management, sales, or government service Experience closing deals of at least $5M/year. Crisp execution, always Clarity of communications, written and oral. You are a natural storyteller. Understanding of US Government procurement mechanisms and buying behaviors, ability to mobilize distributed global organizations to accelerate sales cycles. Among many stakeholders, you identify and influence the key people. Exceptional hustle, ability to align internal resources against ambitious external objectives BS/BA degree Cape is hybrid with an expectation of three days a week in our Washington, DC office. The salary range for this role is $150,000-$210,000 a year + equity + 401K match. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, relevant education, and/or training. Our Culture
