Qualify prospects and for larger opportunities set up meetings for the sales team to discuss solutions in greater detail./liliMarket Research and Targeting: Research target accounts and trade activity to understand shipping patterns, pain points, and potential fit for our ocean NVOCC services. Use this insight to tailor communication and outreach./liliSales Development: Effectively communicate the value of our ocean freight capabilities, including FCL, LCL, and consolidation services. Present our solutions clearly and accurately to generate qualified interest./liliClosing of Business: Proactively pursue and close new ocean business opportunities with SME clients, managing the sales cycle from initial contact to contract signature. Ensure a consultative approach and deliver tailored solutions to meet SME logistics needs./liliCollaboration on Larger Opportunities: For larger or more complex opportunities, work closely with the sales team to transfer qualified opportunities leveraging team expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions and maximize win rates./liliCRM and Data Management: Maintain detailed and accurate records of outreach, activities, and pipeline progress in Microsoft Dynamics 365./liliPipeline and Activity Management: Manage a consistent flow of outreach, follow-ups, and meeting scheduling to meet activity and conversion goals./liliCollaboration: Work closely with sales, pricing, and operations to align on target accounts, messaging, and qualification criteria./liliProfessional Growth: Take part in ongoing coaching and development with the goal of progressing into an outside sale or account management role over time./li/ulpPhysical Requirements/pulliVision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus/liliMust be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, some light lifting may be required in some instances./liliTalking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment/li/ulpEducation
Experience/pulliBachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field./lili1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or logistics (ocean freight/NVOCC experience preferred)./liliFamiliarity with international shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics terminology./liliDemonstrated success in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
