Outside Sales & Contract Management Specialist

to join our team, serving the

North East territory . This full-time position plays a dual roleleading new business development and client relationship growth, while also overseeing contract creation, compliance, and lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will bring proven success in

metals distribution sales , strong interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail in contract oversight. Regular travel (up to 80% daily with some overnight) within the territory is required to build and maintain customer relationships. Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in the North East region. Manage and grow existing client accounts with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention. Conduct client visits, site assessments, and product/service presentations. Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets Provide market intelligence and feedback to internal teams. Prepare, negotiate, and manage customer contracts ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance requirements. Track key dates, obligations, pricing terms, and renewal timelines. Collaborate with internal teams (legal, operations, finance) to streamline contract workflows and approvals. Ensure contracts are accurately entered and maintained in internal systems. 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in

metals distribution or industrial sales . Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and account development. Experience managing and negotiating contracts in a sales setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM tools. Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the North East territory. Strong organizational and communication skills. Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, or related field. Experience working with steel, aluminum, or specialty metals. Familiarity with pricing models, supply chain logistics, and inventory-based sales.
