The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing top-notch assistance to customers in selecting the proper gages / tools./pulliMaintain a high level of customer service by assisting customers with will call, counter and telephone sales/liliAnalyze and expedite customer orders in a timely manner. Meet customer needs by recommending appropriate products and services/liliEnter sales data, quotes or other relevant information into inventory control system/liliAssist manager in ordering appropriate merchandise to ensure stock remains at an acceptable level/liliRestock store merchandise and maintain current pricing on all store displays and products/liliSeek to expand existing customer base with all products lines/liliPrepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals to prospective customers/liliIdentify, monitor and document competitive market activities by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc./liliEnsure customer inquiries related to accounts receivable billing issues, cylinder balances, order status, time of delivery, etc. are properly handled/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulh2Are You a Match?/h2pstrongRequired Qualifications:/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent/liliMinimum two (2) years experience with customer service and/or sales experience/liliKnowledge of proper customer relationship and customer service practices/liliAbility to multitask in a high volume setting/liliStrong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written/liliMust be able to work overtime and on-call when necessary/li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliSAP experience preferred./liliKnowledge in welding, gases, industrial, safety supply sales preferred/li/ulpstrongBenefits/strong/ppWe care about and support all Airgas associates.
