divh2Bulk Sales Specialist/h2pAirgas is Hiring for a Bulk Sales Specialist in Long Island City, NY!/ppAt Airgas, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world./ppWe are looking for you!/ppCompensation: 87K-97K plus bonus/ppAuto allowance and mileage reimbursement/ppMust have 5+ years of outside sales experience with an industrial background/ppAs an Airgas Bulk Gas Sales Representative you will regularly call on our customers within your sales territory with the purpose of maintaining business, increasing sales, and improving the companys competitive position in the sale of Bulk gases, equipment, and safety related supplies./ppThe Bulk Gas Sales Representative is also responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective customers within the assigned territory. This position will be required to meet and exceed both corporate and regional objectives for sales growth, profitability, and A/R management within the assigned territory./ppDevelop and execute regional company specific sales and marketing plans/ppImplement Bulk gas Target Account Planning and Tracking System and provides updates on a monthly basis to sales and product management./ppActively pursue and acquire new and competitive accounts with emphasis on obtaining product supply agreements./ppReview regional sales goals and gross profit margins within the assigned territory and monitors effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts./ppAct as a technical resource for customer(s) and regional retail sales associates in the area of bulk and Bulk gases./ppEstablish and maintain clear and consistent lines of communication with internal departments relative to customer successes, customer failures, new customer developments and other customer specific information/ppWork closely with local Branch managers to assist in promoting sales and customer management through retail store locations within assigned geographical area/ppTravels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers/ppIdentifies and qualifies prospective customers within assigned area or territory and keeps direct manager informed of such information./ppInterprets customer needs and makes appropriate recommendations to increase sales opportunities./ppResearches and analyses market data in assigned area or territory to determine new customers, sales volume potential and pricing, and develop a strategy to meet sales targets/ppPerforms other duties as assigned./ppRequired Qualifications:/ppHigh School Diploma; Bachelors degree preferred/ppMinimum 5 years of related outside sales/ppRequires a valid drivers license and personal vehicle with insurance coverage as required by the company/ppAbility to multi-task in a high volume setting./ppStrong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written./ppPreferred Qualifications:/ppKnowledge of industrial gases, welding supply and hardware desired/ppProven change management skills, including building sponsorship, communications, and stakeholder management/ppMust be able to use a computer and have a working understanding of Word, Excel, SAP, etc./ppMust present a professional presence and demeanor that is reflective of a corporate office environment/ppMust have a high level of energy, be as self-starter, and have a strong customer service and relationship orientation./ppBenefits/ppWe care about and support all Airgas associates.
