The Key Account Manager is responsible for:/pulliPerforming technical demonstrations, training, installations, customer support on equipment

software as well as attending and participating in Regional and Local Product Shows/liliGenerate accurate monthly forecasting for the assigned territory. Results focused

consistently monitor territory metrics and take ownership of changes needed to succeed/liliPerform lead generation activities including but not limited to, seminars, work-days with Channel partners, prospecting within assigned territory/liliResults focused

consistently monitor territory metrics and take ownership of changes needed to succeed while maintaining an accurate and up-to-date customer database in Salesforce.com/li/ulpThe essential requirements of the job include:/pulliBachelors Degree or higher/liliA minimum of 5 years of field laboratory diagnostics sales experience or selling into the life science or drug discovery industry is preferred. Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sales does not meet this qualification requirement./liliKnowledge of absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence, Western Blot

Imaging technology is highly preferred./liliExperience in PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Salesforce.com CRM Database is preferred, with demonstrated data analysis capability/liliOutstanding prospecting, territory, lead management, negotiation and closing skills/li/ulpTravel, Motor Vehicle Record

Physical/Environment Requirements:/pulliAbility to travel 40-50% within the field in assigned territory/liliMust have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record/liliAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb, any other physical requirements/li/ulpIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:/pulliFamiliarity with existing academic research, big and small biopharma, CRO and government accounts in assign territory/liliPrevious laboratory experience/liliKey Account Management experience/li/ulpMolecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
