As a Commercial Account Manager, youll be responsible for selling Nutanix products and solutions to Commercial customers in the market. Working through our established channel partner network, youll interact directly with Commercial customers in the region to help them address some of their most complex business issues with custom solutions built on a framework of simplicity. To support you, well align you with a Sales Engineer in the region to collaborate on customized technical solutions to address our customers needs, and youll have access to our broader sales and field marketing teams for additional support around events and communications. passionate team of salespeople with a desire to disrupt the current state of the data center within Commercial accounts. We are looking to expand our team to include additional A-players who are looking to bring simplicity and efficiency to a complicated world. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work in a remote setup, but its required to live within the designated sales territory. Travel is a significant component of this role, as you will need to meet with customers and partners on a weekly basis. This aspect of the job allows for valuable face-to-face interactions, relationship building, and a deeper understanding of client needs./ppEssential to success in this role is a keen ability to break in and land new accounts and to expand your customer base. Nutanix provides unrivaled support and tools from the Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development departments for you to leverage to exceed sales performance goals./ppUtilizing a consultative sales approach, discuss business issues with prospects, provide demonstrations, and present a written sales proposal and sales presentation addressing their business needs./ppWork collaboratively with employees within the sales function, as well as cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development./ppEffective relationship management. Develop sales opportunities within partner organizations and work closely with your channel sales executive to drive partner growth within new accounts and existing customers./ppDemonstrate experience with SFDC or other Customer Relationship Management tools in order to effectively provide sales leadership with weekly updates on sales forecast and pipeline information./pp5+ years experience with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in multiple, continuous years./ppYou are someone with an entrepreneurial spirit with an affinity for collaboration and teamwork./ppYou come with a keen ability to land new accounts and expand your current customers within your assigned territory./ppYou are extremely organized, with deep knowledge of territory planning and strategy./ppYou have an aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems as well as the competitive landscape./ppAbility to communicate with senior managers about their business challenges and Nutanix data management storage solutions./ppYou have strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills./ppYou have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience./ppThis position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $201,600 and USD $302,400 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
