Job Type: 1 Year Contract to Hire Experience Level: 5-10 years Position Summary We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with 5-10 years of professional experience in Java and ReactJS to support mission-critical software systems. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that integrate secure backend services with dynamic, responsive front-end interfaces. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a structured, security-conscious environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and ReactJS.
- Design RESTful APIs and ensure secure, efficient communication between front-end and back-end components.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, systems engineers, and database administrators to implement robust software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, integration testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Write clean, maintainable code adhering to project-specific security and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Support migration of legacy applications to modern web architectures where required.
- 5-10 years of experience in full-stack development using Java (Spring Boot) and ReactJS.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, RESTful API design, and secure web application development.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks such as Redux or Next.js.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile development practices.
- U.S. Citizenship (mandatory for access to defense-related systems).
- Experience in a DoD or aerospace/defense environment.
- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and secure coding practices.
- Experience integrating APIs with identity management systems (OAuth2, SAML, etc.).
- May require working in secure facilities or with sensitive defense data systems.
- Flexibility to collaborate across time zones and travel occasionally for project needs.
- Adherence to project-specific documentation, cybersecurity, and compliance standards is mandatory.
