Role Snapshot:

Title: Superintendent / Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) Location: Florida / Project-based Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000

What You’ll Be Doing: Schedule, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction activities and subcontractor work Serve as the Site Safety & Health Officer, ensuring compliance with the Site-Specific Safety Plan Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies across all trades Conduct daily safety inspections and immediately correct unsafe conditions or behaviors Lead weekly toolbox talks and present safety updates during progress meetings Plan and supervise subcontractor and craft activities, including manpower, materials, equipment, and work sequencing Coordinate work across multiple trades, company departments, and external contractors Review and maintain safety documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance Work closely with engineering, estimating, and planning teams to ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and schedules Identify and help resolve field issues including productivity challenges, trade conflicts, and site conditions Monitor compliance with safety and quality control requirements and ensure corrective actions are implemented Assist Project Management with project scheduling, site logistics, and execution planning Track schedule progress daily, weekly, and monthly, including look-ahead schedules Fully on-site, field-driven role with direct reporting to the Project xsgimln Manager

What is Sought: Extensive experience in a Superintendent or senior field leadership role Strong background managing construction safety programs on active job sites OSHA 30 certification and ongoing safety training experience Solid knowledge of U.S. construction methods, techniques, and industry standards Ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage subcontractor performance Experience on federal, military, or government-funded projects is a plus Marine construction experience is helpful but not required Clear area of trade or construction expertise (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) Comfortable working full-time on-site in a project-based environment Opportunities for continued training, leadership development, and advancement
