AsaCommercialBankerinMid-Corporate Banking,your primary responsibility will be new client acquisition andmaintainingand deepening a portfolio of relationships. Youwill work both independently and collaboratively to introduce our comprehensive solutions to clients. Your role involves growing andretainingprofitable relationships within the Mid-Corporate Banking target market, which typically includes companies withannual revenuesranging from $100 million to$2 billion.
Job Responsibilities
- Acquirenew clients andmaintaininganddeepeninga portfolio of relationships.
- Act as the interface between our financial sponsors team and portfolio companies
- Growing andretainprofitable relationships within the Mid-Corporate Banking target market
- Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset
- Stay up to date with industry trends toidentifyopportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
- Find ways to further efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered bynew technologies
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Five plus yearsoflending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
- Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
- Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting,demonstrateproven client relationship skills, andcanengage with CEOs and CFOs
- Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work underpressureand meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability toestablishcredibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
- Deep local connections and market knowledge
- Corporate financeexpertiseand strong transaction execution skills
- FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licensesrequiredor must obtain within180 daysof hire
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training
- Sales management, business development skills,proficiencyin building andmaintainingpositive client relationships
- Experience with Financial Sponsors, DirectLendingand Capital Markets Solutions.
- Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
