SUMMARY :

As a Broiler Tech Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal care and comfort of our company's birds. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding producers on best practices and maintaining high standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality and efficiency of our poultry production. Key Responsibilities Technical Assistance : Provide expert advice to producers on building and equipment specifications, litter manipulation, and farm sanitation. Farm Visits : Conduct regular farm visits to document bird comfort, manage flock and equipment settings, and monitor bird health. Health Monitoring : Identify health issues and provide remedies when possible. Feed Management : Monitor feed consumption and order feed as necessary. Sample Collection : Pull blood and fat samples on time when required. Coordination : Coordinate chick placements to farms, assist with catch schedules, and ensure seamless communication between hatchery, feed mill, and live haul. Compliance : Ensure both producer and company adhere to the production contract, aiming for high-quality and cost-effective flocks. Regulation Adherence : Follow all USDA and other government regulations when handling poultry. Collaboration : Work with the Broiler and Breeder Departments to coordinate weekly chick placements and perform additional responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS :

Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

Experience : 1 plus years

Computer Skills : Elementary computer skills such as checking electronic mail entering data into document templates or creating simple queries.

Travel : 1 to 5 trips per year.

Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)
