Benefits 401(k) Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Overview Ampersand Graphics is currently seeking a Graphic Production Artist to carry out various tasks in our graphics design department. The ideal candidate will have some experience, but not required. Must have good communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to maintenance supervisors. All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply. Expectations & Experience Experience with apparel design and production is a must. Experience with channel separation and output or Screen Print Color Separation ability is a plus. Experience with large format digital printing a plus. It is not uncommon that you will be expected to turn around 5 or more designs a day, including multiple options for each. Much of our work is for schools and local businesses but we do some higher end designs as well. Responsibilities Feed raw materials into production machinery Assemble goods on production lines Monitor the production process Carry out basic quality and testing checks Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse Fulfill orders Pack goods to be shipped Maintain work areas and equipment Occasionally help in other departments of the company depending on need We are a very low drama workplace.
