Job Details Work Shift: Day Work Day(s): Monday-Friday Shift Start Time: 8:30 AM Shift End Time: 5:30 AM Worker Sub-Type: Regular Job Description Provides customer services and information to patients, guests, and staff in an accurate and service‑oriented communication style. Answers telephone, takes messages, and routes phone calls. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Experience No minimum experience required Preferred Qualifications Experience in administrative/secretarial, customer service, or business office Experience in healthcare Personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Windows‑based applications Experience with multiple phone line systems or switchboards Education High school diploma or equivalent Certification Summary No professional certifications required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated verbal/written communication, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills Job Responsibilities Answers telephones, takes messages, and routes calls. Answers callers' questions and provides requested information. Provides directions, pages requested individual(s), and distributes/collects appropriate paperwork and forms. May perform other department‑specific duties such as supporting volunteers, filing documents, filling in for other staff members, and other assignments as appropriate.
