The Knuckle Boom Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment, specifically knuckle boom loaders and front-end loaders, unload log trucks, cut logs to length, and transport materials to the sawmill. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a log yard environment.
Requirements
* Proficient in operating knuckle booms, cranes, and other heavy equipment.

Responsibilities
* Safely operate knuckle boom loader and front-end loaders.
* Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery.
* Unload logs from trucks, cut them to specified lengths, and transport them to designated locations.
* Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with team members.
* Operate truck scale and ensure accurate weight recording for incoming log trucks.
