Job Title:Accounting Officer (Construction Industry)
About the Role We are seeking an experiencedAccounting Officerwith a strong background in theconstruction industryto join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing financial transactions, cost tracking, and project-based accounting while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor and track project expenses, budgets, and cash flows.
Assist in preparing financial statements, monthly/quarterly reports, and year-end closing.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and government reporting requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
