We’re currently seeking a passionate and skilled Tool & Die Maker to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high‑quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
Constructs, alters, and repairs a wide variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to very close tolerance.
Develops strategies for fabricating die components using the most efficient machining methodology.
Maintains specified tolerance to warrant proper qualification of the stamped product.
Meets all quality and efficiency expectations.
Demonstrated ability for using shop mathematics, handbook of geometric and trigonometric formulas.
Ability to work from drawings and sketches.
Ability to use all types of precision measuring instruments.
Thorough knowledge of machine shop practices, principles of mechanics, machine shop operations, and the working generalities of material.
Requirements
HS diploma required.
Completion of an approved Tool and Die Maker state apprenticeship program.
