About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with strong proficiency in 3D design using SolidWorks and advanced capabilities in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on solving complex design challenges and delivering innovative solutions for high-performance products.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Perform FEA to validate structural integrity and optimize designs.
Conduct CFD simulations to analyze fluid flow and thermal performance.
Collaborate with the engineering manager and fellow engineers on new product development projects.
Perform engineering calculations and analyses, and create detailed design drawings.
Develop quality control and testing documents, and collect data on prototypes.
Communicate with operations and production teams on manufacturing requirements and provide necessary engineering support.
Gather user requirements and product feedback to inform design improvements.
Monitor product performance and manage design updates after new products are released.
Prepare detailed documentation, including design reports and analysis summaries.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of professional experience.
Proven experience in 3D CAD modeling with SolidWorks.
Skilled in FEA and CFD tools and methodologies.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Coral Springs, FL.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
