Qualifications
MS in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
Accomplished leader with 5+ years of SRE management experience managing regional and global teams.
Strong experience with SRE tech stack, tooling, and automation strategy to improve infrastructure/application system deployment and configuration processes.
Maintain excellent written and verbal communications with clients, employees, and management, including status reports, project plans, presentations.
Experience managing technical teams on projects with deep dives into code, networking, operating systems and/or storage.
Proficiency working with algorithms, data structures, and production troubleshooting.
Substantial experience in many of the following technologies, with demonstrated expertise and capacity to lead complex technical implementations:
Cloudera distribution
Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, Route 53, RDS, Redshift, EMR in a highly available, scalable production environment
Continuous Integration and Deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Harness, AWS CloudFormation, Salt, Puppet, Chef, Ansible
SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) based databases
C, Java, Python, Ruby
Open source technologies (Kafka, Hadoop, HBase, ZooKeeper, Oozie)
Networks (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, Load Balancing)
Apache Spark experience or ability to lead projects utilizing Apache Spark.
