A Channel Sales Officer is responsible for managing and developing relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers to drive sales growth and expand market reach. This role ensures that sales targets are achieved through effective channel strategies, partner support, and strong collaboration with internal sales and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, recruit, and manage channel partners to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and resellers.
Develop and implement channel sales strategies to increase product penetration and market share.
Provide training, product knowledge, and sales support to channel partners.
Monitor and evaluate partner performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Collaborate with marketing to design promotions, campaigns, and incentives for channel partners.
Conduct regular market visits to assess partner activities, competition, and opportunities.
Prepare and submit sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
Resolve partner issues and concerns promptly to maintain strong business relationships.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging sales opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
Proven experience in sales, preferably in channel/distribution management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze sales data and prepare actionable insights.
Results-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel and work in the field as required.
