Social Media Marketing Specialist Job at IOWA DARTS, LLC in Tiffin

Iowa Darts is seeking a skilled and motivated Social Media Marketing Specialist to help grow our brand, strengthen our online presence, and engage thousands of players across the Midwest. This role focuses on creating consistent, high-quality content that promotes our tournaments, leagues, events, rules, payouts, and community updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
• Create engaging posts, graphics, player highlights, tournament promos, and recap content
• Increase player participation by encouraging players, teams, and staff to share events
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule to promote upcoming tournaments, Iowa Open updates, 100 Club, Points Classic, and weekly events
• Respond professionally to comments and messages while following Iowa Darts rules and communication standards
• Manage live updates during tournaments (when assigned), including photos, bracket reminders, and announcements
• Collaborate with Iowa Darts staff to ensure accurate information on caps, stat rules, payouts, deadlines, and entry requirements
• Assist with reputation management by reporting misinformation, monitoring discussions, and promoting positive community engagement
• Track analytics and report growth across all social platforms
• Maintain Iowa Darts branding integrity across all media

Qualifications

• Experience with social media management and content creation
• Strong communication skills and ability to write clear, accurate, friendly posts
• Basic graphic design ability (Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools)
• Understanding of darts, leagues, PPD/MPR, caps, or willingness to learn
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to stay calm and professional in high-traffic tournament weekends
