ROLE: Energy & Utilities Business Development Manager Contract Type: Contract or Full-Time Complete Remote (but travel required whenever required to Florida),/ People from Eastern Timezone is Preferred Visa: Independent Only US Citizens About the Role We’re looking for a confident, connected, and tech-savvy evangelist who can help us expand TechBlocks’ footprint in energy, utilities, and natural resources—from investor-owned utilities to propane, renewables, and power generation companies. This role blends relationship-building, storytelling, and digital outreach. You’ll leverage modern tools like Amplemarket, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and utility industry portals to nurture connections, manage multi-channel campaigns, and drive meaningful conversations with executives, product leaders, and innovation teams. Key Responsibilities Build and execute outreach campaigns targeting utilities, energy retailers, and grid modernization partners using HubSpot, Amplemarket, and LinkedIn tools. Develop compelling stories, case studies, and narratives that position TechBlocks as a digital transformation partner in AMI 2.0, CIS/CX modernization, EAM, and analytics. Represent TechBlocks as a thought leader at industry conferences (e.g., Distributech, Itron Inspire, Utility Analytics Week). Engage with OEMs, regulators, and technology providers (Itron, Landis+Gyr, Siemens, Quanta Technology, NET2GRID) to expand our alliance ecosystem. Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales pods to develop persona-driven messaging based on our ICP playbooks for CTOs, CDOs, Grid Ops, and Compliance leaders. Contribute to campaign reporting and CRM hygiene, ensuring data accuracy across HubSpot and Salesforce integrations. Curate and share market intelligence, competitor insights, and trend analyses to support GTM and strategic planning. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in marketing, outreach, or partner development roles within utilities, renewables, or energy technology sectors. Need to understand the Technicalities of the project, coming from technical background is nice to have Proficiency with CRM and automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Amplemarket, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). Strong understanding of AMI, DER, CIS modernization, and AI adoption trends in energy and utilities. Excellent storytelling and communication skills—you can translate complex technology into business impact. Existing network within utility, energy, or OEM ecosystems preferred. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or equivalent experience. Legally authorized and available for travel across North America (15–20%).
