The Human Resources Manager is responsible for: recruitment and selection, on-boarding, compensation, benefits, training and staff development, regulatory compliance, employee relations, safety and health and other areas. Skills: · Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel. · Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. · Implements and annually updates compensation system program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys. Works with management to analyze compensation, performance and revisions as necessary. · Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approves invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness. · Develops and maintains files for EEO-1 reporting and maintains other records, reports and logs to confirm EEO regulations. · Conducts recruitment effort for all classifications of personnel, students and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing; writes and places advertisements. · Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory. · Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. · Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned. · Maintain active relationships with other human resources professionals in the community. Requirements: · Five (5) plus years with an expanding responsibility within Human Resources · Equivalent to appropriate four-year college program. · A bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of Human Resources experience. · Any appropriate combination of education and experience. · Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification. Nice to have: · Computerized programs to manage Human Resources Data and benefits. · Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
