Brunswick Marine Leader Position

See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: This position applies gel coats to molds and boat surfaces, ensuring a superior finish by preparing molds, mixing gel coat materials, and using spray equipment for application. This will also be a rotational position with the mold preparation area. Precision and strict adherence to safety standards is essential within the Resign Transfer Molding department. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required qualifications include the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision, strong attention to detail, proven problem solving and decision-making abilities, willingness and ability to be cross-functionally trained throughout the workstation to cover and fill in for absenteeism, a broad range of skill & working knowledge of work tasks plus working knowledge of related tasks, excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, and a willingness to work extra hours required to assure timely completion of critical projects. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, skills in forklift, overhead hoist, computer, fiberglass and/or gel-coat applications, the ability to work well with teams professional or otherwise, understanding and following verbal and written directions, ability to read and understand blueprints, ability to use hand, battery, and pneumatic tools, and ability to work near co-workers and work in areas with limited space. Working conditions may require working in a non-air-conditioned area, lifting up to 50 lbs. independently and over 50 lbs. with team assistance, following proper safety protocols, and working in a fast paced, noisy environment. The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $25.75, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
