Business Development Representative / Account Executive, CDL & Transportation Staffing - Cleveland, OH

Our client is a national CDL driver staffing firm exclusively focused on placing local and regional drivers who are home every night. They partner with large, multi-location distribution and logistics companies across the U.S., delivering contract-to-hire and direct-hire driver solutions. With $17M+ in annual revenue, strong margins (high-50s GM), and major national customers already under contract, they are investing in proven sales talent to fuel continued growth toward $19M+ in 2026. We're hiring a Business Development Representative / Account Executive to hunt new accounts, close corporate HR agreements, and expand revenue across multi-branch customers nationwide. What you will do: Hunt and close new B2B business within CDL and transportation staffing Target logistics, distribution, foodservice, building supply, and delivery companies with 25100+ trucks Sell CDL A & CDL B driver staffing (temp-to-hire and direct hire) Build relationships with corporate HR, fleet managers, and branch managers Open national agreements and expand them across multiple branch locations Track pipeline, activity, and performance in Bullhorn CRM What we're looking for: Proven B2B sales experience (staffing, logistics, transportation, industrial preferred) CDL driver staffing or transportation industry background strongly desired High activity, outbound-driven sales mindset (calls matter here) Confident communicator who can overcome objections and close Comfortable selling to HR, operations, and branch leadership Self-starter who creates their own opportunities Polished, professional, and resilient personality Someone who wants to win, not manage Required Skills: New business development / hunting Phone-based outbound sales Contract negotiation Relationship building across multiple stakeholders CRM usage (Bullhorn experience a plus) Objection handling and closing Required Education, Training, Experience: Sales experience required (staffing or logistics preferred) CDL / FMCSA knowledge a plus Willingness to participate in trucking associations and industry groups Sandler Sales Training provided during ramp What you get: Base + uncapped commission Tiered commission with higher payouts for new logos Recurring revenue on multi-branch customers Strong sales admin, AM, and recruiting support Benefits: 401(k) Health, dental, vision insurance Paid time off A positive, energetic culture with strong leadership The opportunity to build a high-earning, national book of business in a red-hot CDL staffing market.
