Accounting Specialist
We are seeking an accounting specialist for a contract-to-permanent position. Responsibilities: Handle daily accounts payable tasks, including entry of bills, routing approvals, and matching purchase orders. Review employee expense reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies. Support accounts receivable functions, such as cash applications and payment processing. Assist with general financial operations and provide backup for other accounting team members as needed. Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal and external financial standards. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to address discrepancies or resolve financial queries. Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports, analyze data, and track financial metrics. Work with NetSuite for financial management and reporting, ensuring accuracy in system inputs. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in accounting workflows. Requirements: Minimum of 1 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable and receivable. High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel. Familiarity with NetSuite and Concur Expense preferred but not required. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial operations. Positive attitude and attention to detail to support team collaboration and company objectives.
